Is pressure washing a roof a good idea?

No. High pressure strips granules and shortens shingle life. Soft washing is the safer method.

Will the streaks come back?

Algae can return in shaded, humid spots. Zinc or copper strips and trimmed trees slow it down.

Does cleaning repair damage?

Cleaning removes growth but does not fix damaged shingles. We note any that need repair.
